Afghanistan, the full name of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, is a landlocked country in south-central Asia, located in the heart of Asia. Afghanistan borders Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan in the north, the People's Republic of China in the east, Pakistan in the south, and Iran in the west.

The National Emblem of Afghanistan was opened in 2013. The main body consists of a white mosque niche and a pulpit, with two flags on both sides. The country name ‘افغانستان‘ and the Pashto text ‘1298‘ are located in the lower part of the national emblem. The outside is surrounded by two ears of wheat.
