Flag Meaning
The ratio is 1:2. Three vertical flags of blue, yellow and red, with the national emblem in the center. The national emblem is usually not printed on the reverse side. The blue, yellow and red are derived from the Romanian flag and represent Moldova It is a common nation with Romania. The golden eagle in the national emblem holds the cross, the left paw holds a scepter symbolizing authority, and the right paw holds an olive branch symbolizing peace. The yellow bull head symbolizes justice, and the yellow eight-pointed star above the bull head represents National sovereignty.
Emblem Meaning
The National Emblem of Moldova is a shield emblem, with red on the top and blue on the bottom. There is a bull head in the middle, a five-petal flower in the lower left corner, and a crescent moon in the lower right corner. Between is the sun. The shield is placed on the chest of an eagle. The eagle's beak holds a cross, and its claws hold an olive branch and a scepter.
