Introduction
The Republic of Nicaragua, commonly known as Nicaragua, is a country in Central America and the largest country in the Central American isthmus. It is bordered by Honduras to the north, Costa Rica to the south, the Caribbean Sea to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. Nicaragua's territory can be divided into three main geographical regions, namely the low Pacific region, the relatively humid central high region and the Caribbean low region. Nicaragua is near the Pacific Ocean. There are two largest freshwater lakes in Central America-Lake Managua and Lake Nicaragua. The capital of Nicaragua is Managua. The warm tropical climate, biodiversity and active volcanoes are the main tourist attractions of Nicaragua.

Hail to Thee, Nicaragua is the national anthem of Nicaragua. It first appeared in October 1939. It was adopted as the official national anthem on August 20, 1971. The lyrics were written by Salomón Ibarra Mayorga, and the composer was Luis A. Delgadillo.

Emblem Meaning
The national emblem of Nicaragua is round. The middle is equal. A triangle on the side, painted from top to bottom with a rainbow, a cap of freedom, five volcanoes and oceans. The words 'Republic of Nicaragua in Central America' on the outermost side of the book are written in gold, indicating that Nicaragua was once a member of the Federal Republic of Central America.
