Introduction
The Syrian Arab Republic, commonly known as Syria, is located in West Asia and the east coast of the Mediterranean. It belongs to the Middle East Arab country and its capital is Damascus. Syria It borders Turkey to the north, Iraq to the east, Jordan to the south, Lebanon and Israel to the southwest, and the Mediterranean to the west. Independence was declared on January 1, 1944, and it was recognized by the United Nations and other countries in the world on April 7, 1946. Formally independent country, the current president is Bashar al-Assad. Due to the ongoing civil war, it has been divided and controlled by multiple regimes or armed groups, mainly the internationally recognized Syrian government, the Syrian opposition and the North Syrian democracy Federation, etc.

'Guardians of the Homeland' is the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic, adopted in 1936. Lyricist Haril Bay, songwriter Mohammed Freffi, he also composed the Iraqi national anthem and many other Arab folk songs.
