Introduction
The Republic of Togo, commonly known as Togo, is one of the West African countries. Togo is adjacent to Benin to the east and to the north It borders Burkina Faso and Ghana to the west. In addition, there is a short coastline in the south facing the Gulf of Guinea. The capital and largest city of Togo is Lome.

'The motherland, we salute you' is the national anthem of the Togolese Republic. Lyrics and music are by Alex. Created by Alex Casimir-Dosseh, it was the national anthem from independence in 1960 to 1979. In 1979, it was replaced by different works created by the Togolese People’s Assembly. It was re-adopted in 1992. < br>

Emblem Meaning
The National Emblem of Togo was inaugurated on March 14, 1962. It is a shield emblem with gold ground and black borders. The abbreviation of the name of the country is written in red letters. There are two sides on the top of the shield. The national flag is guarded by red lions holding bows and arrows on both sides. The top ribbon is written with the national motto 'Work, Freedom, Motherland'.
