Introduction
The Republic of Palau, commonly known as Palau (Palau, formerly known as Belau or Pelew, is located in the Western Pacific An island country. There are about 340 islands in the country, belonging to the western chain of the Caroline Islands in the Micronesia Islands, with a total area of 459 square kilometers. The most populous island is Koror. The capital is located in Ngirumud The neighboring island of Babel Daub is part of Melekeok State. Palau’s maritime neighbors include Indonesia, the Philippines and the Federated States of Micronesia.

Flag Meaning
Proportion 5:8. The flag with a sky blue background and a yellow circle. The central circle represents the moon, symbolizing the destiny of a single nation and country, and blue represents the pursuit of independence.
Emblem Meaning
There are two types of Palau National Emblems : One is the government emblem, and the other is the Congress emblem. Both the government emblem and the Congress emblem are round. There are traditional local houses painted in the middle, and the front flag is written in English with 'OFFICIAL SEAL' (official seal). Government The bottom of the emblem house has the year of establishment of the 'Autonomous Republic' written in 1981, decorated with plant branches on both sides, and the outer ring is written as 'Government of the Republic of Palau'. The Congress emblem has no year, and the outer ring reads 'Republic of Palau' and Palau 'Congress'.
