Song of Abidjan-'Song of Abidjan'-L' Abidjanaise
'Song of Abidjan' is the national anthem of Côte d’Ivoire. It was adopted as the national anthem after 1960. It was passed on July 27, 1960 under Law No. 60-207, and Article 29 of the Constitution stipulates Its status as the national anthem. It adopts a lyrical and very patriotic form of poetry, expressing the greatness of the land of Côte d’Ivoire and the values of hope, peace, dignity and 'true brotherhood” with inspiring images.

Emblem Meaning
The central pattern of the national emblem of Côte d’Ivoire is a coat of arms painted with the head of an African elephant (its tusks are the source of the country’s name), and the sun rises above it. There are two oil palms on the left and right, which are the main local crops. The country name is written in French on the ribbon.
