Introduction
The Republic of Kosovo, referred to as Kosovo, is a sovereign dispute area and limited recognition country, located in Southeastern Europe The Balkans unilaterally declared independence in 2008. Although Serbia recognizes its democratically elected government, it only recognizes the region as one of Serbia’s two autonomous provinces (Kosovo and Metohija).

Emblem Meaning
The Kosovo National Emblem was approved by the Kosovo Assembly on February 17, 2008. It is a shield emblem, The blue ground is bordered by yellow. The map of Kosovo in the middle and the six white five-pointed stars have the same meaning and form as the national flag.
