Latvia

Latvia, the full name of the Republic of Latvia, is a country in northeastern Europe located on the east coast of the Baltic Sea and one of the Baltic countries. It is adjacent to Estonia, Lithuania, and Russia to the north, south, and east, and to the west across the Baltic Sea to Sweden, and to the southeast to Belarus. The total population of Latvia is 1,934,379 (2018) and the land area is 64,589 km2 (24,938 sq mi). The climate is a temperate maritime climate.
