The Republic of Lithuania, commonly known as Lithuania, is located in northeastern Europe. It is one of the three Baltic countries and the capital Vilnius.< br>

National Song-'National Anthem'-Tautiška giesmė

'National Anthem' also known as 'Lithuania, My Motherland' and 'Lithuania Hymn', its lyrics are 1898 When Lithuania was still part of Tsarist Russia, it was composed by Vinzas Kudirka (1858-1899) and quickly sung among the Lithuanian people. After Lithuania became independent in 1919, this song was designated as the national anthem. 1940 In 1991, Lithuania joined the Soviet Union and re-established a new national anthem in 1950. In 1991, when the Soviet Union disintegrated and Lithuania declared independence, this song was redesignated as the national anthem.
